Day 1: Arrival
On your journey, you will be warmly welcomed by your personal host, who will be by your side from start to finish in Greenland. They will not only coordinate the trip, but also be readily available to assist and support you throughout your stay.
Upon arrival at Ilulissat airport, your guide will drive around town and take you to visit the Ilulissat Icefjord Centre Sermermiut.
After this visit, you will embark on a transfer from Ilulissat to Saqqaq in a Rib boat promises to be an unforgettable journey, an adventure of a lifetime that you will cherish forever.
As you set off from the charming town of Ilulissat, you will be greeted by the breathtaking beauty of the Arctic landscape surrounding you. The journey takes you through a vast expanse of crystal-clear water, dotted with towering icebergs that glisten in the sunlight, creating a magical atmosphere. The stillness of the water and the silence of the surroundings will make you feel as though you are the only person in the world, lost in a wonderland of ice and water.
As you make your way towards Saqqaq, you will be surrounded by a pristine wilderness, where the only sound you will hear is the gentle lapping of the waves against the boat's hull. The journey takes you past Isua, a glacier that is responsible for some of the most magnificent icebergs in the world. These enormous structures loom over you, casting a majestic shadow on the water as you pass by, and create a sense of awe and wonder that is hard to describe.
To add to the magic of the journey, you will be treated to a delicious lunch (included) in the midst of these giant icebergs. As you sit on the boat, surrounded by ice from the dawn of time, you will be struck by the raw beauty of nature and the immense power that it holds.
As you continue your journey, you will witness the stunning transition from the rugged coastline to the gentle hills of Saqqaq, a remote and peaceful community nestled on the shores of the Davis Strait. The final stretch of the journey takes you through a narrow channel, where the Rib boat navigates its way through the crystal-clear waters with ease.
As you disembark in Saqqaq, you will realize that the journey you have just experienced is not just a means of transport, but an adventure in itself, a journey of a lifetime that you will never forget.
On arrival at your camp, check in and enjoy a delicious traditional dinner and drinks around the bonfire.
Day 2 to 3: Activities

Day 4: Departure
Before you depart, enjoy a delightful breakfast while soaking in the last views of the stunning landscape. As you prepare to leave, take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable memories made in this captivating setting.
After check-out, you will be transfered to Ilulissat Airport on a tour passing Torssukátak and Eqi Glaciers including lunch.
Few places in the world can match the scale and solitude of this remote destination, where the ancient ice cap meets the sea. Journeying into the Ata Strait you will come upon the Eqi glacier, a sight of unparalleled purity and grandeur, to see the awe-inspiring spectacle of huge pieces of ice breaking off and crashing into the water. The sounds are enormous, the drama breathtaking.
We’ll spend approximately 2-hours in front of the glacier waiting for the ice to calve, while serving lunch onboard. This is a true journey of discovery, a full sensory experience where ancient natural forces have shaped a unique, never to be forgotten landscape.
Next is a 2 hours cruise to Ilulissat for a little taste of civilization.

On the edge of Disko Bay, Saqqaq’s 40 sqm en-suite tents invite you to embrace the quiet grandeur of Greenland’s Arctic landscapes. Configured to suit your needs, the beds can be arranged as a single luxurious double or two separate beds, with the option to add up to two extra beds for children. Soft duvets, electric heating blankets, and reindeer furs create a warm retreat, even as Arctic winds whisper outside.
Each tent features a private en-suite bathroom with a hot shower powered by eco-conscious systems, a separation toilet, and locally crafted bath products. Thoughtful touches, such as soft lighting, reading chairs, and natural materials, enhance the feeling of tranquility after a day spent exploring Disko Bay’s icy wonders.
